DETROIT — At a forum recently held in Detroit, experts from across the nation said that creating a regional agency to operate a bus rapid transit system would force coordination and efficiency on overlapping city and suburban bus providers, as well as build the foundation for an improved public transportation system connecting Detroit to key suburbs, Metro Airport and Ann Arbor, Detroit Free Press reported.
