PITTSBURGH — The Port Authority of Allegheny County’s board approved a new advertising policy that bans political, religious and tobacco ads, as well as anything that depicts pornography or violence, however, it does allow alcohol advertising, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The policy follows a five-year court battle over whether the authority could refuse to post ads on buses informing felons of their right to vote, which the federal appeals court ruled it could not. For the full story, click here.
