Megabus.com began daily service to and from Cleveland and eight additional cities on Thursday.

Direct routes will be available to and from Cincinnati; Columbus, Ohio; Erie, Pa.; Buffalo, N.Y.; with connections to Atlanta; Lexington, Ky.; and Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tenn. Each of the new cities will be served via Coach USA subsidiary Lakefront Lines.

“Megabus.com’s addition of eight city connections into Cleveland is a tremendous asset for our city as a business and leisure destination,” said David Gilbert, President & CEO of Positively Cleveland. “There is plenty for visitors to see with more than $2 billion in visitor-related developments currently happening and now it is even easier than before for people to travel to downtown and experience everything we have going on. There has truly never been a better time to visit to Cleveland.”

Megabus.com will continue to serve Ann Arbor, Mich., Toledo, Ohio, State College, Pa., Chicago, Detroit, New York and Pittsburgh. Totaling 11 daily arrival and departures, Cleveland has become a major megabus.com hub in the Midwest.
