The U.S. Department of Transportation released about $62.6 million in grants to 33 University Transportation Centers (UTCs) for the second year of two years of funding authorized by Congress for those selected in the FY2013 UTC Grant Program competition.

UTCs work with regional, state, and local transportation agencies to help find solutions to challenges that directly impact their communities and affect the efficiency of the nation’s transportation system.

The UTC Program is housed within U.S. DOT’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology. To view the complete list of recipients, click here.
