A second wave of train strikes crippled rail services across southeast England on Monday, leaving tens of thousands of commuters stranded, reported The Associated Press. It was the second strike, staged by members of the Rail Maritime and Transport (RMT) Union after management talks failed to resolve a dispute over pay and the domotion of a train driver last year, said AP. Last week's 48-hour walkout by RMT members halted 90% of South West Trains services, costing an estimated $14.4 million in lost production, said AP.
