Siemens Transportation Systems has signed a deal, worth an estimated $270 million, to supply Romania's state-owned rail company CFR Calatori with 120 passenger trains over the next five years, the Romanian Transport Ministry said. Romania will import 57 trains from Germany, with the remaining 63 being built by a Romanian company, under license from Siemens.
