A Japanese rail company, West Japan Railway, has begun running "Women Only" cars during morning rush hours to protect women from gropers, reported the Associated Press. The rail company will operate the cars--off limits to men-- weekdays between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the western metropolis of Osaka. West Japan is the third railway to introduce such cars in recent years, as female passengers increasingly speak out against the groping that often occurs on Japan's jam-packed trains, said the AP. Services, which began Monday, will operate during morning rush hour, as nearly 70% of groping complaints take place on the way to work.
