The Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey was authorized to enter into contract negotiations with the Downtown Design Partnership for design and construction of the permanent World Trade Center PATH Terminal. The partnership consists of DMJM+Harris and STV, in a joint venture, and international architect Santiago Calatrava S.A. The terminal will serve as a major regional transportation hub as well as a significant cultural and retail destination.
