The consortium comprising Bombardier Transportation and Alstom Transport received an order for 22 bi-level TGV Duplex high-speed trainsets from the French National Railways.
The contract is valued at approximately $381 million, with Bombardier's share amounting to $93 million.
Bombardier will manufacture the two first-class vehicles, one second-class vehicle and six carrying bogies for each of the 8-car trainsets.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place between Jan. 2006 and Dec. 2007.
