A used military rocket launcher has been found at a rail station for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The device, which reports indicate is a model commonly used for training purposes, was found at the Hamilton-Holmes rail station and is being examined by the FBI.

MARTA workers found the device at about 2 p.m. Tuesday while conducting a routine track examination.

MARTA police cordoned off the area and the weapon was removed by a bomb squad, but rail service was not disrupted, said a MARTA spokesperson.
