MotivePower, a subsidiary of Wabtec Corp., signed an $8 million contract to overhaul seven commuter locomotives for New York's Metro-North Commuter Railroad Co. The locomotive work will be performed at MotivePower's Boise, Idaho facility, with delivery of the refurbished units slated to begin in the first quarter of 2006.
