Amtrak to offer USA Rail Pass to U.S. residents

Amtrak has started offering the USA Rail Pass to all Amtrak customers worldwide.

Previously, the pass was only available for purchase by residents outside of the United States and Canada. The pass enables travelers to visit any destination in Amtrak's system, choosing how long they wish to travel at a fixed price, providing a reduction in the total cost of separately purchased multiple tickets.

International travelers who are outside of the United States can make a reservation by calling (001) 215-856-7953. If travelers are already in the U.S., call 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245) and ask to speak with an agent.
