BOSTON — Twenty people suffered smoke inhalation from a tunnel fire, which began just before 10 p.m. Thursday evening north of the Downtown Crossing MBTA station, according to a Boston Globe story. During a press conference, General Manager Richard A. Davey said a cable caught fire in the tunnel, but that the cause of the fire was still being determined.
