Mass. commuter rail lines add quiet cars

BOSTON — After getting positive feedback in a “quiet car” pilot earlier this year, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Co. began implementing quiet zones on all 13 commuter rail lines on Monday, boston.com reported. The mandatory quiet will be imposed during peak commuting hours, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. For the full story, click here.
