TRENTON, N.J. — Amtrak officials announced Tuesday evening that service would resume on most of its trains between Philadelphia and New York on Wednesday morning as flood waters from the hurricane had receded, reported The Associated Press. Flooding at the Trenton, N.J.-based station was the problem for the rail network, as well as New Jersey Transit and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, which also could not get their trains into Trenton.
