FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North Railroad advocates are asking that the money being raised through fare increases be spent on train services, according to Main Street Connect.

Fares increased 5.25% January 1 and are due to increase by the same amount for the next two years. The increase is expected to bring in $9.25 million in additional train revenue this year. For the full story, click here.
