AECOM Technology Corp. was awarded a contract worth approximately $42 million by Malaysia's Land Public Transport Commission and Singapore's Land Transport Authority for an engineering study of the Malaysia-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.

Under the contract, the company will provide an architectural and engineering consultancy study for the proposed RTS Link, which would connect Singapore with Johor Bahru in southern Malaysia.

The study will determine the technical parameters and proposed options for a convenient and cost-effective system that is well-integrated with public transport services on both ends of the RTS Link.
