LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Times reported that Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's free "Metro Art Moves You" tours include lessons on how to use the city’s subway system in addition to showcasing public art in three of its downtown subway stations.

While most people take the tour for the art, the agency hopes to inspire more public transit use, according to the Times.

Tour leaders offer instruction in using TAP fare cards, turnstiles and train travel etiquette. Each attendee receives a free TAP card loaded with a day pass, which is good for travel on the tour any beyond. For the full story, click here.
