RICHMOND, Va. — The transportation secretary of Virginia said the state hopes to debut the third daily passenger train through Lynchburg by 2017, reported The Roanoke Times.
Plans for a third train came together quickly this year amid talks over how to ease congestion on U.S. 29 through Charlottesville after a long-planned but contentious bypass was declared a dead-end.
