STAFFORD, Va. — The Virginia Railway Express is set to launch its new mobile ticket app on Friday, which will allow riders to buy and validate tickets on their cellphones, The Free Lance-Star reported.

The app, developed by GlobeSherpa, has an animated screen, with an image of the Washington, D.C., skyline and a constantly moving VRE train. The moving image serves as a security measure to keep hackers from using screen shots to mimic the app. For the full story, click here.
