NEWARK, N.J. — Continuing a shake-up at the agency, Robert Lavell, the head of New Jersey Transit's rail operations, is stepping down at the end of February, The News Tribune reports.

Lavell has headed rail operations since 2014. He was previously the rail division's acting VP and GM, and deputy GM of equipment. He has more than 40 years of experience in the transportation industry.
