The U.S. High Speed Rail Coalition says the federal investment is a sign that “the tide has turned” for high-speed rail in America.
The agency’s overall ridership has recovered 85% from its 2019 days, when it had its highest ridership year with 4,495,039 passengers; and weekend ridership has fully recovered back to 100%.
