Railquip's Battery Powered Maxi Railcar Mover utilizes its full traction weight on the drive wheels to pull 350 tons of trailing load on straight and level track. Its four electric motors, including stepless adjustable control for the individually driven wheel, allow car movement in both directions. The guide wheels can be swiveled by 135 degrees, while off the track the unit has a turning radius of only 63-inches and can easily go on and off track. On elevated track, the Railcar Mover can be operated via radio remote control. Available with stationary or onboard battery charger in customer's option and equipped with two rechargeable high-performance batteries of 40 V/320AH capacity each.
