The Sound Transit Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Peter M. Rogoff, former Federal Transit Administrator and the federal government’s third-highest transportation official, to serve as Sound Transit’s new CEO. Mr. Rogoff will succeed current CEO Joni Earl, who announced last May that she will retire in the first quarter of 2016 after Sound Transit opens the University Link light rail extension.
