CEOs push for Detroit transit plan vote

The group, which employs nearly 200,000 people in Michigan, wrote a letter calling for action on regional transit in the wake of Amazon.com passing on Detroit for a potential site for its planned 50,000-employee second headquarters.

Amazon could use public transit to deliver packages

The patent is essentially a locker on wheels, installed inside or attached to the outside of a bus, train or other form of transit, according to the report. Customers who ride a particular route regularly could opt to have a package delivered to their preferred bus, to retrieve while they’re riding.
