The one-story, 10,000 square foot bus terminal features an indoor waiting area, ticketing offices, a cafeteria, restrooms, nine bus bays, parking, and a customer drop off area on Stuart Street.
The 18.5 mile Red Line will be the longest corridor in the network and nearly doubles the footprint of the existing First Coast Flyer system, connecting more people to jobs, education, healthcare, and entertainment.
The 11.1 mile Blue Line on the Southeast Corridor features direct, high-frequency service; seven branded stations; transit signal priority at 18 intersections; and off-board fare collection.
Will be used to improve sidewalks and ADA ramps within a half mile of the First Coast Flyer™ North Corridor stations and construct pedestrian access to the Armsdale Park-n-Ride facility.
The First Coast Flyer is JTA’s new, premium bus rapid transit service. The Flyer offers customers a frequent, limited-stop, easy and reliable way to get around town. Covering 57 miles of destination travel, the Flyer will be the largest transit system of its kind in the Southeast.
The 11.1-mile Southeast Corridor is the third segment of a five-phased First Coast Flyer™ system planned for the Jacksonville area.
