Apps Helping to Enhance Riders' Experience

For the increasing number of customers with smartphones and tablets, safety is enhanced. New features, such as mobile ticketing, crowd-sourced information and even shopping, further improve the ride.

Cleveland RTA to renovate BRT station for $10.5M

FTA green lighted work on the University Circle Rapid Transit Station, which was awarded $10.5 million from the TIGER II Program in October 2010. The project will involve reconstructing the station, which includes consolidating the bus and transfer area and the rail station.

State funding enables Cleveland RTA to maintain, add service

The bulk of the Ohio Department of Transportation funds, about $4 million, will be used to preserve existing transit routes and transit jobs in 2011. The remaining approximately $1 million, will fund strategic improvements and enhancements.

Cleveland community college students can now get bus pass

Cuyahoga Community College students will be able to get a discounted bus pass starting this fall. Case Western Reserve University students get the pass for $25 per semester, while the Tri-C students will pay $240 per semester.
