The project will extend the ACE platform at Fremont station by 400 feet to accommodate longer 10-car trains.

Some of the projects under the capital program include grade separations, station upgrades, bridge replacements, crossings improvements.
The facility is designed to accommodate the County’s existing fleet of buses as well as future additions.
The 15,000-square-foot facility and storage tracks will accommodate six DMUs.
The Salinas Rail Extension will extend passenger rail service 68 miles from Gilroy in Santa Clara County south to Salinas in Monterey County, with connections to San Jose, Oakland, and Sacramento.
As part of its services, LAN will provide rail system guideway design, additions or modifications to existing guideway, signal system design, rail bridge engineering and inspection, station design, schedule modeling, and emergency railroad engineering services.
Currently, three HSR corridors that would connect major urban areas of the state are under various stages of development. The corridors include the Dallas to Fort Worth HSR, Dallas to Houston HSR, and Texas-Oklahoma Passenger Rail Study.
