Competition on most major routes is again fierce, accentuated by the expansions of FlixBus, carriers catering heavily to Spanish-speaking populations, and a bevy of lines operating from the vicinity of New York Canal Street, home to the city’s Chinatown neighborhood.
These emerging bus services put them in head-to-head competition with major airlines.
The new partnership will help residents, students, business travelers and visitors leverage the resources of HART to increase their travel options all across the state.
In response to student feedback, Orlando, Fla.-based RedCoach is extending one of its routes to include a stop at the University of South Florida campus, joining two of its other stops in the Tampa area.
Fares between Jacksonville and Orlando will start at $28 round trip. Round trip fares between Daytona Beach and Orlando start at $25.
It currently services eight markets including: Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, Tampa, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Pompano Beach, and West Palm Beach. Jacksonville and Daytona Beach will be added to the list of destinations by the end of the year to meet customer demand.
Services are now available in eight markets including: Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Fort Lauderdale, Lake Worth and Atlanta. In addition to these markets, RedCoach is planning to expand service in the near future to Jacksonville and Daytona Beach to meet customer demand.
