Detroit’s Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) provides fixed-route and paratransit demand service for residents in southeast Michigan. SMART’s fleet consists of 233 fixed-route buses and 110 Connector buses covering 1,100 square miles.
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) has added 20 propane autogas para-transit shuttle buses to its fleet and expects to recoup its investment in about a year, according to ROUSH CleanTech.
Currently, Livonia has four ROUSH CleanTech Ford E-450 Cutaway buses that are used for its Community Transit system.

Colorado Mountain Express’s price for propane autogas averages $1.72 per gallon, compared to the current average cost for gasoline at $3.80 per gallon in the area.
Using their existing sales and service channel, Green Alternative Systems partnered to provide installations for ROUSH CleanTech propane autogas fueling systems in the transit, paratransit and commercial ground transportation markets.
Recently awarded a contract by the Ventura County Transportation Commission to provide VISTA intercity bus service, Roadrunner Shuttle and Limousine Service will use the new facility for that operation and for storage of their propane autogas vehicle fleet.
