Intersection’s contract will now run through June 2029 and grants Intersection the right to deploy the transit system’s first-ever digital advertising network.
The project is an initiative to restore the obsolete 107-year-old Potrero Bus Yard with a bus storage facility.
The buses will be used for the Municipal Railway (Muni) bus service.
If approved, this project section and its environmental document will complete full environmental clearance for high-speed rail in Northern California.
The move comes after a thorugh inspection from the agency, the TJPA, and the MTC.
