The new buses, which feature a bike rack for up to three bikes, stop at or near Museum Row downtown, the University of Louisville, Speed Museum, Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Derby Museum, Old Louisville, restaurants, hotels and much more.

The agency, which celebrated its 40th year, marked the milestone with numerous changes, including the addition of 10 all-electric buses and 60 replacement buses, a new trip planner, and a new fare collection system set to launch this year.
With the introduction of the new TerraVolt extended-range battery, Proterra buses can now be configured to travel up to 180 miles between charges.
The all-electric system - 10 buses and two charging stations - is an $11 million investment, with the bulk of funding from federal and state grants. Louisville Metro contributed $500,000.
