In November 2018, Brightline announced a strategic partnership and trademark licensing agreement with the Virgin Group.
British billionaire and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson Branson is scheduled to appear in Miami this week for the announcement.
The contract includes the refurbishment of the interiors, bar, kitchen facilities and toilets. The work is being undertaken at two Alstom Traincare Centres in the U.K. and will be performed over a period of eight months.
Companies in the partnership include: VINCI, OHL, Virgin and Alstom; and non-equity partners: Archer Western, AECOM and PBS&J. Each boasts strong ties to Florida and a long history of doing business in the state.
