Chicago Transit expands anti-harassment campaign

The goal of the campaign is to promote awareness that CTA will not tolerate harassment on its trains, buses or other CTA property and to provide helpful information to customers who believe they are the victims of harassment.

L.A. Metro launches campaign to prevent sexual harassment

As part of the system-wide campaign, Metro upgraded its smartphone app, LA Metro Transit Watch, to include a report of “Indecent Exposure,” “Sexual Assault-Physical” and “Sexual Harassment-Non-Physical.” The app also allows a reporting person to snap a photograph of a suspect safely without activating the camera’s flash.

D.C. Metro launches new anti-harassment ads

The ads feature hands representing different races and genders to illustrate that harassment is not exclusive to any one group or sex. The concept was developed in collaboration with advocacy groups Collective Action for Safe Spaces and Stop Street Harassment, who have worked closely with Metro on this issue.
