Asked if the incorporation of autonomous vehicles could benefit Memphis, Gary Rosenfeld, CEO of Memphis Area Transit Authority, said that it could assist in limiting transit deserts, in a conversation with Trapeze Group's Paul Comfort. But, to unleash the full potential of autonomous vehicles we need to wait for the public’s acceptance of this technology.
The buses will support Grand Rapids’ second new BRT line, with funding provided by the FTA and the Michigan DOT.
The agency is currently looking to replace the entirety of its fleet with zero-emissions vehicles by 2032.
Select buses will feature the exclusive GPS-based technology from BAE Systems.
Trial with Lohr Cristal will compliment or replace existing bus lines and will test public reaction to new types of vehicles and services.
In August 2018, Brookville also delivered the fourth in an order of five of its modern Liberty Streetcar vehicles with onboard energy storage system to the City of Milwaukee.

Lauren Skiver, GM and CEO of SunLine Transit, notes that transit agencies are in the transportation business, which includes walking, biking, scooters, buses, trains, etc., in a conversation with Trapeze Group's Paul Comfort.
