ANN ARBOR, Mich. — AnnArbor.com reported that last week, the University of Michigan approved plans for a $4.5 million Central Campus transit center. Officials said that building the new center will improve pedestrian safety and provide bus stations that will be able to accommodate more buses from both the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority and University’s busing system.
