SURREY, British Columbia — In a competition put on by the Kwantlen Student Association, three Kwantlen Polytechnic University students set out to test three methods of travelling between the school's Surrey and Langley campuses: bicycle, sneaker and transit bus. The bike finished the 12-mile route first with a time of 59 minutes. The runner came in second at 66 minutes and the TransLink bus finished dead last with a time of 79 minutes, Surrey Now reports. Students will use the results to bolster their argument that a U-Pass program should only be expanded if service is improved. To read the full story, click here.
