HARROGATE, Tenn. — U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood will deliver the commencement address at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) later this month, according to the Claiborne Progress.

LaHood, will receive LMU's highest tribute, the Lincoln Diploma of Honor, during the commencement ceremony. The award is in recognition of his leadership and dedication in establishing the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial commission and introducing legislation in Congress that would fund Bicentennial activities.
