AURORA, Colo. — A key half-segment of a Denver Regional Transportation District (RTD) proposed light rail project, scheduled to open in 2016, is routed near the medical campus of University of Colorado (CU), Denver Post reported. Critics argue that it could adversely impact the highly sensitive equipment being used at the university and stall efforts to recruit new research facilities.
