COLLEGE PARK, Md. — In response to demand for increased services on campus, the University of Maryland (UMD) will begin adding paratransit vehicles on campus, possibly as soon as the start of the spring semester, The Diamondback reports.

The increased vehicles come in part from a $383,847 state grant that was recently approved. UMD’s Department of Transportation Services expects three additional buses to be operating on campus by January, increasing the number of potential trips by 60%. For the full story, click here.
