ABA, OMCA partner with tour portal site
The CharterBusConnect.com link appears in the Vital Links section on each of 65 destination portals, as well as under Industry Resources from the main navigation bar and TheTourOperator.com link.
Registered users of TheTourOperator.com portal site will now be able to charter a motor coach anywhere in the U.S. and Canada through a link affiliation with GroupConnect, the family of online tools developed by the American Bus Association (ABA) and the Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA), which includes CharterBusConnect.com and GroupTravelConnect.com.
“We’re excited about this partnership with TheTourOperator.com,” said Tony Funderburg, VP of GroupConnect. “It creates additional exposure to the members of our Associations and provides them with more opportunities to capture new business. We have a very diversified membership including bus and tour operators, hotels, restaurants, attractions, theatres and receptive operators who all cater to the group market.”

Meanwhile, the more than 26,000 users per month of CharterBusConnect.com and GroupTravelConnect.com will have access to TheTourOperator.com content, including sample itineraries, value vouchers, high resolution photos and receptive operator directory. The website allows tour operators a chance to create new programs and refresh old with new ideas.
