WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Two Wheels Inc., the sub-contractor that leased 10 vehicles in a futile quest to help Metro Mobility meet Palm Tran Connection’s paratransit needs, could get a helping hand from Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach Post reported.

The Post reported an email exchange between the assistant county administrator and an assistant manager for a New York collections firm indicates that the county’s offer of $30,000 each for the 10 vehicles Two Wheels leased has been accepted.

Two Wheels sought help from the county after the county reached an agreement to terminate its contract with Metro Mobility, which had drawn complaints for poor and unreliable paratransit service. For the full story, click here.
