HOUSTON – A new Houston Metro pilot program, set to launch in January, will allow those riders that use MetroLift paratransit buses to ride those buses to a transit center and then transfer to a regular fixed-route bus, the Houston Chronicle reports.

It will cost $1.25 for a paratransit ride to a fixed-route bus, with riders then able to use MetroLift to return home. The program will enable paratransit users more access to the city then they’ve previously had before, according to the report. For the full story, click here.
