PROVO, Utah — A petition to stop a Utah Transit Authority bus rapid transit (BRT) line to Provo failed, when petitioners failed to get the necessary signatures, KSL-TV reported.

Half of the funding for the project — which is projected to cost around $150 million — will come from Federal Transit Administration grants, while the rest is earmarked to come from Utah County transit taxes that are already in place. For the full story, click here.
