City of Edmonton orders 33 Vicinity buses from Grande West
The company's total firm orders for 2017 and early 2018 delivery are for 247 buses valued at over $66 million.
Grande West Transportation Group Inc., a Canadian bus manufacturer of heavy-duty mid-sized transit buses for sale in Canada and the U.S., announced it received a new order from the City of Edmonton totaling approximately $10 million.
The order is for 33 Vicinity buses for delivery in Q1 2018.
"We are extremely pleased to be providing 33 additional buses to the City of Edmonton,” said Jean-Marc Landry, VP, business development. “This is the third order from the City since September 2016, bringing their total firm orders for Vicinity buses to 49 units."
