First Transit was awarded a contract by the City of Visalia, California for all fixed-route and paratransit operations.

First Transit will provide day-to-day operations and oversight for 87 vehicles, employing 130. The company is also responsible for all maintenance of the fleet, plus three new battery-powered all-electric buses.

In addition to regular operations, First Transit will also support express V-LINE service to Fresno, California, and seasonal shuttle service to Sequoia National Park.
