ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC announced production of six Spirit of Liberty buses for Avondale, Ariz.
The Spirit of Liberty is a rear-engine, medium-duty, low-floor bus with flexible floorplans, six wheelchair positions, and the ability to accommodate a maximum of 37 passengers. The buses will be used as fixed-route transit vehicles for Avondale Transit, located within Maricopa County, Ariz.
Creative Bus Sales facilitated the deal between the Regional Public Transit Authority and the City of Avondale.
To commemorate the occasion, current members of the MTC were presented with a custom painting of the Charlotte Transportation Center in Uptown.
