La.’s Jefferson Parish Transit Administration awarded a two-year extension to its existing contract with Transdev, which provides fixed-route bus and paratransit services for 2.1 million passengers in Jefferson Parish each year.
Transdev has operated the Jefferson Transit (JeT) system for over 60 years. The company provides operations and maintenance services for JeT, utilizing 58 vehicles and 122 employees for fixed-route bus and paratransit services.
Transdev is dedicated to helping make the JeT system more accessible and convenient to riders and participates in numerous community events.
