Milwaukee's unique bus passes on way out

MILWAUKEE — CityLab featured Milwaukee’s unique, hand-crafted bus passes, which will be phased out after nearly 100 years in favor of the new M-Card smart card system.

The Milwaukee County Transit System doesn't have a date set yet for the final phaseout of print passes, but the agency has already cut weekly production from 40,000 passes to 10,000 passes. For the full story, click here.
