Bombardier names new VP, operations strategy

Bombardier Inc. appointed Jim Vounassis as VP, operations strategy, effective June 15, 2015. In his new position, he will conduct a detailed review of the company's operations and implement strategies to increase value creation across the organization.

Additionally, Vounassis will lead Bombardier's global action plan, focusing on improving profitability and execution to transform the business into a high performance organization. He will be based at corporate office in Montreal.

Prior to joining Bombardier, Vounassis was VP, global operations, Pharmascience, a pharmaceutical company supplying generic and branded products in Canada and around the globe.
